在 Mac Pro 这种对功耗与发热不敏感的专业台式机上，我不认为现有的 arm based 的 Apple M 系列 SOC 对比 Xeon+N 卡的组合有很大优势，特别在追求极致的性能方面。猜测也许是苹果宣布有 intel 新机发布和 Mac Pro 迟迟没有过渡到 Apple Silicon 的原因之一

我觉得大概还有个原因，是现在所有的 M 系列 Mac 扩展性都不行，总不能出个 Mac Pro 然后靠统一内存硬塞个 1.5T 出来吧。而且即使如此，Mac Pro 很多东西都是可以换的，如果不能换了，那就是又一个 2013 Mac Pro. 这些问题我们很直接就能想到，苹果的人不可能想不到，但他们迟迟没透露出任何东西，就很有意思了。 |

猜测那个时候苹果不确定 M1 的市场接受度，所以预留了几款 Intel Mac update ，但是看到市场反应以后直接取消了计划
另外就是 Mac Pro ，但是现在已经 late 2022 了，Mac Pro 这种用 Xeon 的机器换新的芯片意义也不大 desktop 高性能芯片不是那么好做的，Apple Silicon 目前而论优势还是在功耗比上 |

咋更新呢，Ice Lake 的单核性能还是只有 M1 的 80%，Sapphire Raids 又没有 ready ，拖到现在就只能等 M2/M3 的四 die 胶水了
